Ship and Ocean Engineering Experiment Centre is a school-level public service platform open to the whole school, including deepwater offshore basin, ocean Engineering basin, ship model towing tank, wind tunnel-circulating water channel, cavitation tunnel, ship structural mechanics laboratory and other large research facilities.

        The main task of the center is to serve my country’s marine-related disciplines in engineering equipment research and development, key technological breakthroughs and cutting-edge scientific exploration, as well as the training of innovative talents. At the same time, it is actively open and shared to scientific research institutions and universities in the field of shipping and marine at home and abroad, and further serving our country's theoretical innovation and engineering practice in the international and domestic shipping and marine fields.
